Remember that the Die by the Blade story began with Kickstarter Campaigns in autumn 2020 (successfully completed) and last September, the makers announced cooperation with kwalee. The publication was expected for the current year.

As has been announced, Die by the Blade will be available on November 3rd for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. The game will only be released on Nintendo Switch in 2023.

Die by the Blade is set in the world of samuraipunk, where victory is just one stroke away from death. Players must engage in duels using traditional Japanese weapons (determines the available techniques).

They promise fast-paced one-on-one combat, a story campaign, local and network multiplayer, as well as a character editor and customization system. The developers were inspired by Bushido Blade, Way of the Samurai and Dark Souls.
