“Twitch Stories are a way to quickly share content with your community without leaving the platform and using only your mobile device. <..> Access to the feature will be granted to eligible streamers on a phased basis through the end of the week and beyond, provided they meet the minimum requirements.”said Eduardo Fenili, Senior Product Manager at Twitch, about the innovation. Stories in Twitch are no different from a similar function in other social networks: the section block is located at the top of the mobile application – here you can post text, images or videos that will disappear after 48 hours.

The publication in this section is available to partners and employees who have had a broadcast in the last 30 days, but access to the feature may be expanded in the future. Users with more than 30 subscribers can create stories just for them. Twitch provides analytics tools to story creators, and subscribers receive notifications of new creator releases. The content published in this area is subject to the same rules as other areas of the platform. Accordingly, there is an opportunity to complain if Stories materials are inappropriate.
