The Switch version of Knights of the Old Republic II has a bug that makes it impossible to complete the game

Aspyr Media Publishing Approved the presence of a critical bug in the Switch version of the role-playing game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, which prevents the completion of the passage.

The bug mentioned occurs during the story episode with an emergency landing on the planet Onderon. At the end of the relevant cutscene, The Sith Lords crashes. When returning to the game, the situation repeats itself.

Speaking to a concerned user, Aspyr assured that she is aware of the issue and is already working on releasing a patch to fix it as soon as possible. There is no specific release date for the patch yet.

With her message, Aspyr admitted that The Sith Lords on Switch is currently impassable, but that’s not entirely true: the bug can be bypassed with cheating or persistence (For one player, the game did not crash on the 15th try).

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords was released on June 8th on Nintendo Switch. Between August and September, the project will receive a free restored content add-on that restores some of the edited content.
