The novelty is based on a hydrodynamic bearing. The speed is regulated by pulse width modulation (PWM) in the range from 0 to 2500 rpm.
The fan received an impeller with nine blades that have a special texture. It is claimed that the shark skin inspired the developers to create it. The unusual design improves cooling efficiency and reduces noise levels.
An air flow with a volume of up to 170 cubic meters per hour is created. The static pressure reaches 4.66 mm water column. The maximum noise level is 41.2 dBA.
The solution is equipped with multicolored addressable lighting. You can configure it and sync effects to a dedicated controller or via a compatible motherboard. The dimensions of the fan are 120 × 120 × 25 mm and the weight is 166 g.
The SilverStone Shark Force 120 ARGB will be available for an estimated price of $28.
