SilentiumPC has presented a universal processor cooler Spartan 5 Max ARGB: The new product is suitable for chips with a maximum thermal power loss (TDP) of up to 180 watts.
The solution has a tower design with an aluminum heatsink and four heat pipes. The latter are designed using direct-touch technology, meaning they are in direct contact with the processor cover. First, the thermal paste Pactum PT-3 was applied.
The radiator is equipped with a 120mm Fluctus fan with Fluid Dynamic Bearing and a nine-blade impeller with a special wave shape. This design helps reduce noise levels. The rotation speed varies from 250 to 1500 rpm (±10%).
The fan is equipped with a bright addressable ARGB backlight. Effects can be synchronized via a motherboard with ASRock Polychrome Sync, ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion or MSI Mystic Light Sync technology.
Also, the Spartan 5 Max cooler with similar characteristics, but without a backlight, was announced.
Dimensions of new products – 146 × 125 × 65 mm. The devices are compatible with AMD processors in Socket AM4/AM3(+)/AM2(+)/FM2(+)/FM1 designs and with Intel chips in LGA 1700/1200/1151/1150/1155/1156. The coolers come with a six-year warranty.
