The third most popular operating system on the Steam platform is still Windows 7. Its share is 2.93%. At the same time, it fell by 1.21 percentage points over the past month. Fourth and fifth place belong to the platforms macOS and Linux. Their shares were 2.55% (+0.12pp) and 1.14% (+0.14pp) in April pp) respectively.

The five most popular graphics cards have not changed. The most used accelerator on the Steam platform is still the GeForce GTX 1060. However, it continues to lose popularity. Its share fell by 1.03 percentage points in April and is 7.15%. The GeForce GTX 1650 follows in second place with a share of 6.48% (+0.40 pp) and the third – GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with a share of 5.63% (+0.10 pp). The top 5 is closed by the GeForce RTX 2060, used by 5.09% of Steam users, as well as the GeForce GTX 1050. This graphics card model on the platform is used by 2.99% of gamers.

It is curious that in a month six-core chips lost their lead in the processor segment, which for the first time conquered the first line of popularity on the platform in March. According to the April results, their share fell from 34.22% to 33.06% (-1.16 percentage points).

Quad-core processors took the lead again, increasing their share from 33.74% in March to 33.98% (+0.24 percentage points).
