As promised, the content patch introduced the demons Susamaru and Yahabu, who appeared in the Asakusa episode, into the game. Both monsters are available for viewing in the Versus mode.

In addition, the patch added the promised support for 60 frames per second in the versions for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S, but not everywhere, but only in the story campaign (world exploration and battles) and selected sections with the player’s participation in Versus (offline mode).

Among other things, the patch brought with it new online missions. For completing them, special points are awarded, which can be spent on unlocking rewards such as profile pictures and additional quotes.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles was released on October 15 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. In two weeks since the release, the game has shipped and digital sales exceeded 1 million copies.
