Publisher and developer Square Enix as part of the broadcast celebrating the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII introduced Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second episode of the remake of the Japanese cult role-playing game Final Fantasy VII.

According to the remake’s creative director Tetsuya Nomura (Tetsuya Nomura), Rebirth is created so that people can enjoy it regardless of whether they are familiar with the original game or not.
Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase also assured that the team is committed to making Final Fantasy VII Rebirth even more exciting and memorable than Final Fantasy VII Remake was.
Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Celebration showed a one and a half minute trailer of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The video features familiar characters from the first episode and some gameplay footage.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is expected to be released on PlayStation 5 in winter 2023. In total, the remake will consist of three parts: the first is already available, the second has just been announced, and the third is still being kept secret (development is reported to have started).
