The Samsung Wearable app has found evidence of the existence of the Galaxy Ring smart ring

Samsung’s product range includes many different electronic devices, but it seems that in the near future the Korean manufacturer will start producing a new type of gadgets – smart rings. And there was another convincing confirmation of this.

Optimists had hoped that Samsung would announce the smart ring’s debut at its latest Galaxy Unpacked event in the summer, but that didn’t happen. However, new indirect evidence has emerged that the device actually exists, although there aren’t even unofficial images of it yet. Korean fans of the company’s products have studied the Samsung Wearable application and discovered It contains an icon with an image that resembles a ring.

Such an image can appear for any reason, but a Korean source has previously reported that Samsung is working on a smart ring and has enlisted the help of Japanese electronics manufacturer Meiko as part of the project. A new note about the device suggests that the Galaxy Ring smart ring will be launched this year alongside the Fan Edition devices – previously there was information about the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone and the Galaxy Buds FE TWS headphones.

Smart rings are a niche product and are not yet very popular. Perhaps their popularity will increase with the arrival of Samsung in this segment.
