The Samsung Internet desktop browser has appeared in the Microsoft Store, but is not yet available for download

A Samsung Internet browser is preinstalled on smartphones and tablets of the Samsung Galaxy family – a quite convenient tool that can be used when there is no need to link to Google services. Now the Korean company has released a desktop version of the program, which appeared in Microsoft Store.

Owners of computers with current versions of Windows can use the Microsoft Store application store for free download Samsung internet browser. It supports signing in to an existing account in the Samsung ecosystem, although this requires installing an additional application on your computer.

It is noteworthy that Samsung’s Internet desktop browser is very similar to Google Chrome: there is an address bar and tabs at the top. The Bookmarks section is similar to the Chrome sidebar. In almost the same places there are tools for managing extensions, account settings and preferences; Right-clicking displays the same context menu items. It’s almost absurd: On the browser page in the Microsoft Store, there is no screenshot of Samsung Internet published, but rather of the basic structure of the Chromium browser. In practice, Samsung Internet could prove useful as a backup browser.

Additive: At the time of publishing the message, it was not possible to download the Samsung Internet browser – the Microsoft Store gave an error when attempting to do so. In addition, the browser cannot yet be found when searching in the Windows Application Store.
