One of the first laptops based on the upcoming Intel Meteor Lake processors can already be purchased in China. We’re talking about the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra model from Samsung. True, the new product was discovered not at official retailers, but at one of the sellers on the local secondary trading platform Goofish, a kind of Chinese analogue of Avito.
The seller is offering the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra with model number 960XG for 12,600 yuan ($1,780). The laptop features a Core Ultra 7 155H Meteor Lake series processor, 32GB LPDDR5-7467 RAM, a 1TB solid-state drive, and a discrete GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card with 6GB GDDR6 Storage. It is also stated that the laptop is equipped with an OLED screen with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Another seller on the same Goofish website posted photos of Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Galaxy Book 4 Pro laptops with the back cover removed. Let us recall that from a previous leak it was known that the Galaxy Book 4 laptop series, in addition to the Ultra model, also includes the 15.6-inch Galaxy Book 4 and Galaxy Book 4 360 models, as well as the 16-inch Galaxy Book 4 will include Pro 360 model as well as 14-inch Galaxy Book 4 Pro model.
The provided photo of the Galaxy Book 4 Pro shows that the cooling system of the new product has received some updates compared to its predecessor. However, it still uses dual fans and a vapor chamber installed on the CPU and GPU chips. The photo on the left (below) shows the inside of the Galaxy Book 3 Pro, on the right the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Book 4 series of laptops sometime before December 14, when the official launch of the Intel Core Ultra processors will take place. The Galaxy Book 4 laptop series also includes models with a more powerful Core Ultra 9 185H processor and a discrete GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card.
