The return of the mercenaries, the demo and the new destiny of Luis: Resident Evil 4 Remake gameplay trailer has been released

Publisher and developer Capcom as part of the February issue of State of Play introduced released the third trailer for the remake of the cult action game Resident Evil 4 and made two game-related announcements. In the text it is possible spoiler.

The video is two and a half minutes long and showcases the updated island section and remastered fight against Krauser for the first time, while also pointing out notable changes in the remake’s plot.

During the passage, former Raccoon City Police Officer Leon Kennedy is helped by biologist Luis Serra, who died at the hands of the main villain in the original Resident Evil 4 before reaching mid-game.

Apparently, in the remake, Louis will survive the fateful encounter with the antagonist and accompany Leon in the later stages of the adventure: the trailer showed a joint ride on a trolley and a fight with two El Gigante giants.

As for the announcements, first of all the remake will bring back the mode The Mercenaries, in which you have to complete levels against the clock, kill enemies and earn points. It will be released as a free add-on after the game is released.

Secondly, on the eve of publication (that is, already soon») received Resident Evil 4 Remake “special demo”. The trial version will be released on at least PS4 and PS5. Details will not be announced at this time.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is expected to release on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X and S on March 24th this year. After Resident Evil Village, the game will get a VR mode for the PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset.
