Publisher Just For Games and developer at Little Sewing Machine, founded by Remothered author Chris Darril, announced 2D horror adventure Bye Sweet Carole.
According to the plot of Bye Sweet Carole, the main character, Lana Benton, sets out to uncover the truth about the mysterious disappearance of a girl named Carol Simmons, made in the name of the game. The protagonist is waiting “incredible adventure”.
Bye Sweet Carole’s most notable feature is her visual style, which is inspired by classic Disney cartoons and traditional animation. In terms of gameplay, the developers looked back to the clock tower and old-school adventures.
The Bye Sweet Carole announcement was accompanied by three screenshots, but a few extra frames can be found on the Little Sewing Machine microblog. Darryl started posting more content from the game Summer 2021.
Bye Sweet Carole is expected to be released sometime in 2024 on PC (digital stores not specified), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch.
