Publisher Forever Entertainment and developer from its Polish studio MegaPixel announced about the upcoming expansion of the platform geography of the remake of the cult rail shooter The House of the Dead.
It has been announced that The House of the Dead: Remake (as the updated version is called) will go on sale for Xbox Series X and S already on September 23 this year. The announcement was accompanied by a one-minute gameplay trailer.
The remake of The House of the Dead is said to be available on Xbox Series X and S “Game Graphics and Performance Adjustments”. There is no mention of a possible release of the project on PS5.
The remake features familiar arcade gameplay with updated graphics, local multiplayer for two, multiple endings, achievements, a monster horde mode, a gallery of encountered enemies and bosses, and a photo mode.
The House of the Dead: Remake debuted on April 7th this year on the Nintendo Switch and exactly three weeks later it made its way to PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation 4, Xbox One and cloud service Google Stadia.
