The mentioned update is expected on September 21st, according to Larian reported last week. So far we only know that the patch will include support for macOS.

As it turns out, this is the third major patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 required Further tests will not be published on September 21st. However, the release was briefly delayed – the release is expected tomorrow, the 22nd.

“The third patch is coming and it’s a big one. To ensure a thorough review, we will release the third patch this Friday, September 22nd instead [21-го]»Larian Studios warned users.

Apparently, this transfer even came as a surprise to the team – literally just hours before Larian’s announcement cooked macOS users for the release of Baldur’s Gate 3 on their platform on September 21st.

Larian stubbornly does not reveal what exactly will be included in the third major patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 in addition to support for macOS. The list of changes is expected to be released along with the release of the update.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is already available on PC (Steam, GOG) and PS5 and is coming to Xbox Series X and S in late November. In future updates, the studio wants to reduce the system requirements, add the option to change your appearance during the campaign and more.
