Publisher Nacon and developer Polish studio Teyon reported that the release of the shooter Robocop: Rogue City, based on the cult film franchise, exceeded all expectations. Within two weeks, the project was tested by more than 435,000 people and the number of gaming sessions exceeded 2.7 million.
Alain Falc, CEO of Nacon, spoke about the success of the shooter: “Robocop: Rogue City exceeded our expectations and was a real success from Nacon’s perspective. We are very proud to be able to work with Teyon, who created a game for RoboCop fans, for RoboCop fans.”
In his review for 3DNews, Denis Shchennikov rated the shooter 7.5/10 and summarized: “Part indie, part blockbuster and still a completely competent shooter”.
