1C Entertainment has also reassured King’s Bounty II fans that additional time will be spent finalizing all major aspects of the patch. The exact date of its release and a list of all changes will be announced a little later. Caring players can get through registration to participate in testing the update.

King’s Bounty II was released on August 24, 2021 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The audience greeted the project coolly: in Steam it only has 63% of the rating (over 3,200 reviews).

In a review from 3DNews, the game received 8 points out of 10 – among the merits, Mikhail Ponomarev noted an excellent role-playing system, exciting turn-based battles, an extensive tactical component and a good plot; shortcomings, in his opinion, boil down to technical roughness and discordant pace of the story.
