Publisher THQ Nordic and developer from the Munich studio Grimlore Games announced about the next postponement of the release of the console versions of their role-playing strategy SpellForce 3 Reforced.
Keep in mind that SpellForce 3 Reforced launched last August and was expected to release simultaneously on PC and consoles on December 7th, 2021, but the console release was subsequently pushed back to March 8th, 2022.
As has been announced, SpellForce 3 Reforced is now expected to premiere on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S on June 7th. Pre-orders for the standard and full versions (including the Soul Harvest and Fallen God expansions) are still available.
As for the reasons for the postponement, the team needed more time to come “achieve the goal and offer players the most immersive real-time strategy roleplaying game on consoles possible”.
So far, SpellForce 3 Reforced is only available on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store). The edition features improvements to quests, co-op, balance, mechanics, skill trees and UI, mod and controller support, and new content.
