The independent Polish studio The Astronauts (The Vanishing of Ethan Carter) on its official microblog released a teaser for the next news about his fantasy looter shooter Witchfire.

As a reminder, The Astronauts reports regularly (sometimes with long pauses) on the progress of the Witchfire production. The last such update (then they talked about the first playtest of the game) was at the end of May 2021.
As it became known, the next Witchfire developer blog is planned for next week (January 17-23). They promise about the release date, the project features and “Other exciting things”…

To make the wait for the upcoming announcement easier, the developers have shared a new gameplay excerpt. It contains “A full four seconds of Witchfire in deluxe Twitter quality.”…
Witchfire was first shown at The Game Awards 2017, while The Astronauts started playing again in 2015. So far, the witch hunt shooter has only been confirmed for PC (Steam) and doesn’t even have an approximate release date.
