Realme has released a teaser announcing the preparation of a new mid-range smartphone with support for fifth generation cellular communications: we are talking about the Realme 9i 5G device, whose presentation is scheduled for August 18.
The device will be based on the Dimensity 810 processor developed by MediaTek. This solution includes eight cores in the form of a bundle of Arm Cortex-A55 and Arm Cortex-A76 with a maximum clock frequency of 2.4 GHz. Graphics processing is done by the Arm Mali-G57 MC2 accelerator.
As you can see from the picture, the smartphone is equipped with a triple main camera and a fingerprint scanner located on the side. The device is credited with a Full HD+ display and a 5000mAh battery.
Not long ago, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth announced that the company would soon launch 5G smartphones in the $125-$190 price range. It is likely that one of them will be the Realme 9i 5G model.
In addition, the head of Realme noted that in the current half-year it is planned to announce products in two or three new consumer categories. Unfortunately, Mr. Shet didn’t go into details about the upcoming devices.
