We’re talking about a retro-futuristic isometric RPG in the style of the first Fallout, of which New Blood Interactive gives a short teaser hidden in a minute and a half demonstration of their projects from the PC Gaming Show 2021.
During a speech at the 2022 PC Gaming Show, New Blood Interactive boss Dave Oshry called the unannounced project the game of his dreams, but didn’t share any details.
In a tweet three days after the presentation, New Blood Interactive revealed that in addition to Oshri, programmer Adam Lacko and artist Alexander Berezin (aka Red888guns on DeviantArt).
The first is known for his attempts to revive the failed Fallout 3 (Van Buren) from Black Isle Studios, and the second has previously worked on modifications of Fallout Sonora and Olympus 2207 for Fallout 2.
Also contributing to the project is Mark Morgan, composer of the first Fallout, Planescape: Torment, Torment: Tides of Numenera and the Wasteland sequels by inXile Entertainment.
There is no timeline for a full announcement, and even more so for the release of New Blood Interactive’s retro-futuristic isometric role-playing game. In an interview PC gamer Oshri hinted that despite the early teaser, the release is still a long way off.
