Apparently, consumers were less enthusiastic about the release of the new mid-range graphics cards Radeon RX 7600 and GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. According to various sources, there is a low demand for new items, so stores are already forced to lower their prices.

A day after the start of sales, the cost of the Radeon RX 7600 in Spain fell by 13%. CoolMod is one of the first retailers in EU market to lower the price of ASRock Radeon RX 7600 Challenger OC to €259.94. That’s €40 cheaper than the recommended price.
Like NVIDIA’s 8GB GeForce RTX 4060 Ti model, AMD’s new Radeon RX 7600 has proven to be a very controversial graphics card. It received very mixed reviews from reviewers who bemoaned the inflated price tag for a accelerator of this class.
“As with the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti we reviewed this week, we don’t recommend buying the Radeon RX 7600 at a starting price of $270. It’s just not good enough to justify the price, especially considering the same gaming experience was available for around the same price late last year.”writes TechSpot.

According to 3DCenter, which monitors prices and demand for graphics cards in the German and Austrian markets, low demand for the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti led major German retailer Mindfactory to sell the Palit Dual card from a recommended €439 to €419 after just €4 Euro fell hours from the start of sales. A few hours later, the store returned the previous price. However, the novelty is now offered for 429 euros. In the first 14 hours after the start of sales, the retailer managed to sell fewer than 100 graphics cards, writes 3DCenter.

In Japan, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti hit its cooler, informed PC Gamer Edition. According to Hermitage Akihabara, at the time the accelerator was sold in Tokyo’s Akihabara shopping district, only two stores were open where this accelerator could be purchased. The novelty aroused the interest of only one buyer who came to the evening sales launch. This is most likely due to the cost of the graphics card, which is around $500 in local currency.
The suggested retail price of the Radeon RX 7600 for the US and Europe is $269 and €299, respectively. This is lower than the suggested price of the upcoming GeForce RTX 4060, which will be $299. However, this model will not go on sale until July. In other words, AMD, its partners, and retailers now have no reason to slash prices on the Radeon RX 7600, unless of course it comes down to the problem of finding the ones you want to buy.
