The player found traces of an unrealized guide to enemies in the Elden Ring files

user Twitter under the pseudonym JesterPatches drew attention to dozens of unused icons hidden in the files of the open-world role-playing game Elden Ring.

In all, JesterPatches counted 128 icons – two (faded and more colorful versions) for each character/beast depicted. It is worth noting that there are no major bosses among them.

It is believed that the icons were intended to be used in a bestiary that was planned for Elden Ring at some point. By defeating an opponent, the player could unlock an entry about him in the handbook.

Previously, dataminers found locked but partially edited coliseums in the Elden Ring. Enthusiasts have speculated that these arenas could form the basis of an as yet unannounced multiplayer add-on to the game.

Elden Ring debuted on February 25 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. The project is full of undocumented features: fans have found a hidden break and especially strong “illusory” walls.
