Rivals of Aether 2 was developed with eSports in mind. The team hopes that the project will become one of the main disciplines in the EVO 2025 tournament, although there will also be single-player content.

The developers promise a single-player experience that will become a new word in the genre, gameplay innovations (shields, claws, ledges) and well-known mechanics from the first part (parade, hitfalling)

Rivals of Aether 2 is set to release in 2024 on as many platforms as possible. The distribution model is also not announced, but in 2023 the game is waiting for the closed beta test.

The original Rivals of Aether is available for PC (Steam), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The fighting game takes place in a world where warring civilizations call in the powers of fire, water, air and earth.
