A “live” photo of the first Vivo smartphone equipped with a flexible display was available to network sources. This device may come to the commercial market under the name of Vivo X Fold.
As you can see from the picture, the device is made in the size of a book – with a screen that folds into the case. Observers note that this panel does not have a visible crease in the central part, which is characteristic of devices of this format on the market.
According to the information available, the smartphone will have a complex hinge mechanism that will allow the case halves to be folded together without a gap. The display uses UTG glass.
The screen size is rumored to be about 8 inches diagonally, the resolution is QHD+. The refresh rate reaches 120 Hz.
It will be based on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with eight cores (up to 3.0 GHz) and an advanced 5G modem. It is powered by a 4600mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
