When this material was published in the PC version of God of War on the Review Aggregator site Metacritical 39 reviews collected. The average rating is 93 out of 100%.

For comparison: The edition of God of War for PlayStation 4 (on PlayStation 5 the game is only available as part of backward compatibility) once received a similar rating from critics – 94% with 118 ratings.

Testers note that the PC version is decent mouse and keyboard controls (confirmed in the video attached above), but it also supports DualShock 4 (PS4) and DualSense (PS5) controllers.

Judging by the first reviews, God of War on PC is free of serious bugs – in contrast to Horizon Zero Dawn, which arrived on Steam and the Epic Games Store with a whole bunch of technical problems.

When it comes to graphics, God of War on PC offers support for a wide variety of technologies and a wide range of graphics presets and options. According to the reviewers, the optimization did not disappoint either.

God of War will be available on January 14th this year on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Starting today, January 12th, there will be the option to pre-order the game through Valve to pre-load it.
