The PC version of A Plague Tale: Requiem will feature ray tracing and intelligent DLSS scaling

NVIDIA GPU developer informedFocus Entertainment and Asobo Studio’s action-adventure game A Plague Tale: Requiem will support two of the company’s technologies on PC.

Recall that A Plague Tale: Requiem was presented in June 2021 at the E3 2021 digital fair. They also confirmed that the game will get support for 4K, 60fps and ray tracing, but at the time it was all about the Xbox Series X.

As has been announced, the PC version of A Plague Tale: Requiem will also feature ray tracing from the start. In addition, NVIDIA DLSS Smart Scaling will appear in the project.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a direct sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. In the story, Amicia and Hugo head south to start a new life away from the plague and help the boy curb the family curse.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is scheduled for release on October 18th on PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch (cloud release) and Game Pass (PC and Xbox). The game will receive a collector’s edition with a figure of the main characters.
