Remember that Lollipop Chainsaw was once published by Kadokawa Games, which was then managed by Yasuda. After leaving the company, he founded Dragami Games with former colleagues – she now owns the rights to the game.
Yasuda didn’t specify what exactly the return of Lollipop Chainsaw means. Most likely, we are talking about expanding the platform geography of the project – the creation of Grasshopper Manufacture is stuck on the last generation consoles.

The events of Lollipop Chainsaw take place in a school that is being attacked by zombies on the day of the majority of the main character – cheerleader Juliet Starling. The girl does not tolerate this, so she takes a chainsaw and starts shredding the dead.
Lollipop Chainsaw debuted in June 2012 and recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. Despite the cool press reception (from 67 to 70% on metacritical) the game found its audience and even sold over 1 million copies.
