Head of China OnePlus informed in a social media post Weibothat the Ace 2 Pro smartphone will receive a screen with support for Rain Water Touch technology (machine translation from Chinese), which will allow it to be controlled even with wet hands. For example, a smartphone can be used in the rain or when it becomes necessary to use it immediately after washing your hands.
Li Jie Lui posted a video showing how OnePlus Ace 2 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro perform in artificial rain. While the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro responded “perfectly” to screen inputs under water drops, the iPhone14 Pro experienced some crashes.
