The official gaming tests of the Radeon RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT and 6650 XT were leaked ahead of time – slightly faster than current models and competitors

The portal Wccftech has allegedly published official information on the gaming performance of the latest graphics cards Radeon RX 6950 XT, 6750 XT and 6650 XT. Data from promotional materials prepared by AMD for the official release of these accelerators. Remember that it will take place on May 10th.

As a test platform, we used a PC based on AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D and a motherboard with AMD X570 chipset. The source states that the SAM and Resizable BAR features were enabled in the BIOS prior to gaming testing. The pre-release Radeon Software graphics driver 22.10-220411n was used for AMD graphics cards. For NVIDIA graphics cards, the GeForce Game Ready 512.15 driver was used. The Radeon RX 6950 XT was tested in games with 4K resolution. The Radeon RX 6750 XT ran games at 1440p and the younger Radeon RX 6650 XT ran at 1080p.

The flagship graphics accelerator Radeon RX 6950 XT was 11% faster than the GeForce RTX 3090 and 4% faster than the Radeon RX 6900 XT in games.

At the same time, in some tested games with support for ray tracing, the latest Radeon graphics cards received a performance increase of only 2-3% compared to their predecessors.

The Radeon RX 6750 XT model was on average 7% faster than the regular Radeon RX 6700 XT and 2% faster than the GeForce RTX 3070.

The younger Radeon RX 6650 XT was only 2% faster than the regular Radeon RX 6600 XT, but 23% faster than the GeForce RTX 3060.

It is very likely that the games used for testing are optimized for AMD hardware. Independent tests of the latest Radeon RX 6×50 XT models have to be awaited to draw definitive conclusions about their performance.
