Driveclub and Project CARS 3 Development Manager Paul Rustchynsky on my microblog posted a teaser for his new game, stating that it has nothing to do with racing.

Recall that after Evolution Studios closed in March 2016 and Codemasters fired in July 2018, Rustchinski got a job at Avalanche Studios (Rage 2, Just Cause series).
In the summer of 2021, Avalanche Studios opened a new division in Liverpool, which this year will present an as-yet-unannounced project under the direction of Rustchinski.
To raise some expectations, I’m not working on a racing game.
So sorry, no DRIVECLUB sequel, no MotorStorm successor or no ONRUSH offshoot.

In addition to the mysterious Rustchinski game, Avalanche takes part in a cooperative adventure in the open world of Contraband. The developer too indicatedthat the list of studio projects is not limited to these two.
