Larian’s independent Belgian studio fresh development diary shared information about the release date of the ninth major update for his role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 and the status of the production.
Recall that the eighth major patch, which Baldur’s Gate 3 received in July, and the ninth should wait less than two months – the developers will be in time before the end of this year. In addition to bug fixes, the patch includes new features.
Upcoming improvements and plans for 2023 will be discussed as part of the upcoming Panel from Hell show. The full release of Baldur’s Gate 3 is also still planned for 2023 – details will be announced in December.
Larian is currently actively testing the second and third acts of Baldur’s Gate 3, and also preparing updates for the first: so that even those who have played hundreds of hours in it will receive it at launch “completely new experience”.
Early Access for Baldur’s Gate 3 started in October 2020 on PC (Steam, GOG) and Google Stadia. It is not possible to continue the passage of the character from the pre-release – you will have to start over.
