Released by Polyphony Digital Studio update 1.19 for the racing simulator Gran Turismo 7. A small update added three new cars to the game, including two classic ones and one relatively modern one.
AT official blog PlayStation has a lot of photos with three new machines, the list of new products themselves is as follows:
- The Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Group 5 ’84 is a custom Skyline that proved itself in racing in the 1980s;
- Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder ’54, two-seater sleek sports car, winner of the Gran Turismo Trophy;
- The Porsche 918 Spyder ’13 is positioned as a sports car that’s a reinterpretation of the big Carrera GT, but with a hybrid powertrain.
We also recall that at the end of May it was announced that Sony was planning to release a series based on the Gran Turismo racing series, but no details were announced at the time. Production of the television adaptation was commissioned by PlayStation Productions.
The Gran Turismo series began on the original PlayStation in 1997 and has since sold over 85 million units worldwide. The latest installment, Gran Turismo 7, debuted on PS4 and PS5 in March.
