The Moto Razr 2022 smartphone gets a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and up to 18 GB of RAM

On August 2, Motorola planned to announce a new generation clamshell smartphone – the Moto Razr 2022 device with a flexible display. Detailed technical characteristics of the device were published in the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA) database.

It is reported that the “heart” of the smartphone will be the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with eight cores operating at a clock frequency of 3.2 GHz. Versions with 8, 12 and 18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM will go on sale. UFS 3.1 flash storage capacity is 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.

The size of the flexible OLED main screen is said to be 6.67 inches diagonally, with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels (Full HD+). The outer part will house a 2.65-inch display with a resolution of 800 × 573 pixels.

We are talking about the presence of a side fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) MU-MIMO and Bluetooth 5.2 adapter, GPS / GLONASS / Beidou receiver, USB Type-C port and NFC controllers.

The selfie camera gets a 32-megapixel sensor. The main camera combines a 50-megapixel unit with optical stabilization and a module with wide-angle optics. Dimensions and weight are indicated – 166.99 × 79.79 × 7.62 mm and 200 g. It is powered by a 3500mAh battery with 33W charging.
