Insider AestheticGamer (aka Dusk Golem) on his microblog noticedthat the recently announced Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 includes not only the first three games of the series.

We remind you that as part of the recent PlayStation Showcase they announced that Master Collection Vol. 1 includes remasters of the first MGS, MGS 2: Sons of Liberty and MGS 3: Snake Eater, however Konami implied for more games in the squad (see below).
As noted by AestheticGamer, the site is on the digital store PlayStation Store It turned out to be much more straightforward: in addition to the games listed, the collection will include the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake with MSX2.

In other words, without Peace Walker (the semi-main game of the series on the PSP), the upcoming Master Collection Vol. 1 will be identical to the HD Collection released in 2011 on PS3 and Xbox 360.
MGS 2 and MGS 3 from the HD Collection itself are no longer available in stores since November 2021 due to licensing problems with historical and archive recordings, in the versions from Master Collection Vol. 1 Wille “Minimal changes to copyrighted content”.
