The main villain of Abandoned will be the protagonists brother

The main villain of Abandoned will be the protagonist’s brother, and the interactive prologue will be a paid game

The director of the upcoming shooter with survival elements Abandoned Hasan Kahraman (Hasan Kahraman) in an interview with the portal IGN shared new details of the project surrounded by speculation.

It was previously reported that users of Abandoned (codename) will have to take on the role of Jason Longfield, who has to flee the forest where he ended up as a result of the kidnapping.

According to Kahraman, the man with the eye patch (pictured above) from the July teaser is the main villain of Paul, Abandoned’s older brother and part-time Jason, who wants to introduce a relative to his association.

At the same time, before the events of Abandoned began, the protagonist was unaware of the presence of a brother. Jason’s parents died when he was only two or three years old, and the hero doesn’t remember anything from that time. Unlike Paul.

To bring players closer to the story and gameplay of Abandoned is the long promised interactive prologue. Contrary to popular belief, this isn’t a demo version of the project, but a paid standalone game – apparently like Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.

Kahraman added that Abandoned’s prologue will offer no more than two hours of gameplay and a whole host of trophies (including platinum). Proceeds from sales go towards funding the main game.

Abandoned is positioned as a temporary PS5 exclusive. During the current year (but after the release of the prologue), the developers plan to gradually fill the application Abandoned: Realtime Experience with new content (frames, trailers).
