The Lenovo Legion Go portable console with Windows 11 is expected to be presented at IFA 2023 in September – it will be a direct competitor to models such as Valve Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally, as well as AYANEO devices. The augmented reality gaming glasses Legion AR Glasses will prove to be a noticeable advantage. They connect to the device via a USB cable – since they don’t have their own power source, they’re quite compact; It is possible that they are sold separately.

We don’t have a complete list of specifications for the Lenovo Legion Go yet, but what is known is that the device will be powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1-series mobile processor with an AMD Zen4 microarchitecture CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads and clock speeds up to 5.1 GHz and integrated graphics RDNA3 with 12 processing units and a clock frequency of 2.7 GHz – a similar chip is installed in the older version of the ASUS ROG Ally. The larger 8-inch screen will have a thinner bezel than the competition and possibly a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Worth noting is the full set of controls on detachable controllers – right down to the scroll wheel; as well as a well thought-out cooling system: the inlets are on the bottom of the device, the outlets on the top. This means no hot air is directed towards the user. On the back there is a convenient kickstand, and the set is complemented by a microSD memory card slot and a combined 3.5mm jack.
