The Legend of Zelda Series Producer Eiji Aonuma announced in a special video the forced release postponement of the open-world action-adventure sequel The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Recall that the untitled sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was officially unveiled at E3 2019 and was expected to premiere throughout the current year until recently.
As it became known, it was decided to postpone the release of the sequel The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild to spring 2023. Additional time is used to make the game “something special”.
Aonuma reminded that the events of the sequel will take place not only on earth but also in heaven. At the same time, expanding the world will not be limited to size: the manufacturer promises new collisions and gameplay elements.
The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is being created exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. At E3 2021, Nintendo revealed why the full name of the new “Zelda” is still being kept secret.
