Benchmark AnTuTu has published the September performance ranking of Android smartphones. The list is based on data from September 1 to September 30, 2021, statistics are compiled based on the average performance results. The leader has changed in the list – it is RedMagic 6S Pro (Tencent Games Edition). The smartphone showed 857,918 points, displacing the long-term leader in the face of the Black Shark 4 Pro from the pedestal.
RedMagic 6S Pro was the leader primarily due to the most productive GPU, additional factors were improved user interface with a software update, as well as a display with a frequency of 165 Hz. The runner-up Black Shark 4 Pro still demonstrates better performance in some parameters. In addition, Black Shark still hasn’t released an updated model with Snapdragon 888+ processor, so it remains to be seen how the alignment will change after the release of Black Shark 5.
The third place was taken by Vivo X70 Pro + with a Snapdragon 888+ processor and an average score of 836 943. In terms of GPU performance, this instance, as you can see, may well compete with gaming models. The rest of the smartphones on the flagship Snapdragon 888+ in the ranking were iQOO 8 Pro, ASUS ROG 5s, as well as Xiaomi MIX 4.
There were no newcomers in the ranking of middle-class smartphones – all ten were made up of the same participants. The only difference was the rearrangement of 8 and 9 seats: the Huawei nova 8 Pro model on its own HiSilicon Kirin 985 processor managed to squeeze the iQOO Z3, which was not helped by the powerful enough Snapdragon 768G.
