Publisher Funcom and developer of the French studio Shiro Games reported on the release of the promised multiplayer update for its real-time strategy Dune: Spice Wars.
As it became known, with the release of the patch in Dune: Spice Wars it became possible to team up for confrontations in the “2 on 2” format or play alone in the “Every Man Himself” mode (up to four people). .
Users can choose one of the four available factions (empty spaces in the game are occupied by artificial intelligence), adjust the size of the map, victory conditions, activity of sitches, storms and sandworms.
In addition, the authors reworked all development trees with an emphasis on interaction between factions, added new decisions, events, regions, underground structures and the option to confirm the attack on the sitch, and also made many fixes.
Dune: Spice Wars debuted on April 26th on Steam Early Access and is available from 20 percent discount. The next big patch will be released before the end of summer and will bring an unannounced faction and a fourth victory condition.
