The elusive remaster of Naughty Dog’s acclaimed action-adventure The Last of Us Part II has been around for several years, but now it appears to be closer to being announced than ever before.

PlayStation Game Size Data Miner monitoring PS Store database, reportedthat a full version of The Last of Us Part II for PS5 has been added to the system – while the game runs on the console via backwards compatibility.
Also find the size of the PlayStation game confirmed Independent sources come from insider Tom Henderson, who previously shared behind-the-scenes information about the re-release of The Last of Us Part II.
Henderson doesn’t know when the PS5 version of The Last of Us Part II can be expected to be announced, but reminds: The Game Awards 2023 ceremony will take place on December 8th. At last year’s show, Sony announced the release date for the PC version of The Last of Us Part I.

The game’s composer, Gustavo Santaolalla, previously hinted that a new edition of The Last of Us Part II is being prepared for release. A remaster of the game also recently appeared on the resume of a Naughty Dog employee.
The first game in the remake format – The Last of Us Part I – has already appeared on PC (with a delay compared to the PS5), so a scenario is not excluded in which the PS5 version of The Last of Us Part II can pave the way for the game on the PC.
The Last of Us Part II was released exclusively on PS4 in June 2020 and sold over 10 million copies worldwide within two years. According to a June leak, the game’s production budget was $220 million.
