This month, Baker announced a partnership with VoiceVerse NFT, which claimed it would allow people to buy AI voices in the form of NFTs. They can then supposedly be used in any game.

Initially, the actor said that the partnership would be “Exploring ways to provide new tools for new developers to create new things, and empowering everyone to own and invest in the intellectual property they create”.

Baker added: “We all have stories to tell. you can hate Or you can create. what will you choose

For more than two weeks, netizens criticized both Baker’s statement and his involvement in the project. Today he announced his end of partnership with VoiceVerse NFT and apologized to fans for his comment.

Thank you for your feedback and your patience, he wrote on Twitter. — After careful consideration, I have decided not to continue with VoiceVerseNFT. That being said, I heard you and I apologize for accusing anyone of ‘hate’ just because you don’t agree with me.”.
