Hisense has announced a rather unusual device – the music player Touch Lite, which can perform the functions of a compact reader. The novelty is available to order at an estimated price of $300.

Externally, the gadget resembles a regular monoblock smartphone. In the front part there is a monochrome display on electronic paper E Ink with a diagonal of 5.84 inches. There is a front light; You can also adjust the color temperature. The panel supports touch control, is perfectly readable in sunlight, and has low power consumption.
It is based on a Qualcomm processor with eight cores that work at a clock frequency of 1.8 GHz. The amount of RAM is 4 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is 64 GB.
The player is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless adapters, stereo speakers, a USB 3.1 port and a standard headphone jack. Power is provided by a 3000 mAh battery with support for 10 watt charging. The device is housed in an aluminum case.
The software platform uses Hisense Touch OS based on Android 11 with an interface optimized for e-paper viewing.
