GPD has announced the development of a portable computer Win Max 2 for gamers. The novelty will replace the Win Max model shown in the pictures.

The upcoming device is a hybrid of a small laptop and a gaming console. The gadget will get a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels and a QWERTY keyboard, above which the game controls will be located.
The basis will be the Intel Alder Lake hardware platform with a Core i7-1280P processor. The chip combines 14 cores, including six productive and eight energy-efficient. Simultaneous processing of up to 20 instruction streams is supported. The clock frequency reaches 4.8 GHz. The equipment includes an Intel Iris Xe graphics accelerator.
Win Max 2 versions will go on sale with 16 and 32 GB of RAM. It is possible to install two M.2 SSDs with PCIe 4.0 interface: the total capacity of these modules can reach 16TB.
Other features are as follows: a microSD slot, a backlit keyboard, two Thunderbolt 4 ports and three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two vibration motors, a 4G/LTE cellular modem. The battery gets support for fast 65-watt charging. Information on the estimated price is not yet available.
