Counter-Strike 2 limited testing began two and a half months ago and the time has come first major update just received a free upgrade from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).

Two of the biggest changes coming to Counter-Strike 2 in the latest patch relate to the pre-battle preparation phase: a redesigned equipment purchase menu and an updated build system.
The well-known weapon wheel turned into a table and acquired Function of refunding the purchased goods (before the purchase period expires). journalists Dexerto Note that the innovation is certainly inspired by Valorant.
Updated build system (see video below) permitted Choose 15 “barrels” to take into battle: five pistols of your choice, five medium-range weapon types (shotguns, machine guns, submachine guns), and five rifles.
In addition, with the release of the update, the trial version of Counter-Strike 2 received tools for creating weapon skins, stickers and maps (these cannot yet be uploaded to the Steam Workshop), and the Dust II map on official servers was replaced by miracle

A full launch of Counter-Strike 2 is expected before the end of the summer. The new version of the game is based on the Source 2 engine, offers updated maps and backwards compatibility with items from CS:GO.
