xLetalis began its investigation after several hints from the developers that there is still an undiscovered secret in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt located in Skellige and related to the aforementioned expansion.

It turned out to be about the fate of Vivienne de Tabris – Princess Anna Henrietta’s maid of honor and patron of the Toussaint jousting tournament. According to the plot of the addon, the girl is cursed and Geralt can help her get rid of the scourge.

One of the two ways to solve the quest – using an oriole egg – guarantees Vivienne a life free from the curse, but only for seven years (that’s how long orioles live). At the end of the term, the girl is doomed to die.

In its video, xLetalis showed that after seven years in the game, Vivienne really dies – this happens in Yennefer’s room, located in the harbor of Caer Tolde Fortress.

Find xLetalis has a bug: when prone, Vivienne is separated from the dress and remains available for interactions. Through words by Lead Quest Designer Philipp Weber, the problem lies in the physics of the material.

Either way, the CD Projekt RED developers congratulated the blogger on the discovery. Quest Director Pawel Sasko wrote: “We always believed that sooner or later you will find it”.

Vivienne moves to Skellige under very specific circumstances.

However, the pioneer of xLetalis cannot be named. As noted by the portal PC gamerVivienne’s secret lit up Article of the German edition of GameStar from April 2020. The video with the demonstration has not yet been published.
