In a recent live stream spanning 15 hours, Distortion2 was able to see the end credits in 18 minutes and 57 seconds. Official record (26 minutes and 26 seconds) belongs to the streamer spiceeTV.

To shorten the route, Distortion2 actively used the Wrong Warp bugs (allows teleporting to the “wrong” place) and Zipping (moves the player in a straight line to the next obstacle).

It’s worth noting that Distortion2’s record run was recorded in version 1.02, up until a recent patch that adjusted the balance of many abilities and spells in the Elden Ring (including those used by speedrunners).

Elden Ring debuted on February 25th on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. Keep in mind that according to the storyline, players in the role of the “vanished” must reclaim Interearth from six demigods and become the new rulers of Elden.
