The fantasy action game Elden Ring celebrates new successes with more than 16.5 million copies shipped

The Japanese publisher Bandai Namco recently Report for the first quarter of the current financial year has updated sales information for FromSoftware’s fantasy open-world role-playing game Elden Ring.

Recall that the total shipments and digital sales of Elden Ring surpassed 12 million copies on March 14th (i.e. 17 days after the release) and reached 13.4 million copies on March 31st (34 days).

As has been revealed, Elden Ring has since added 3.2 million units to its bottom line through June 30th. Thus, the total number of copies shipped and sold is 16.6 million copies.

It is worth noting that the mentioned Bandai Namco financial report was released on August 5, but it attracted attention local (and then Western film) media right now.

Elden Ring debuted on February 25th on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. The game was developed in collaboration with George RR Martin, author of A Song of Ice and Fire.
