Recall that the official launch of the pre-release version of Dune: Spice Wars was planned for the current year, however, as part of the information leak in March from the Steam database, a specific date was also announced – April 26.

It has been announced that Dune: Spice Wars Early Access on Steam really starts on April 26th. At launch, the game will have four factions, fully functioning political, espionage and warfare systems, and three victory conditions.

Simultaneously with the Dune: Spice Wars release date, the developers revealed the fourth playable faction. They became the Fremen – the native people of Arrakis who dream of lush vegetation and a temperate climate for their planet.

Dune: Spice Wars will be in Early Access for 9 to 12 months. During this time, they promise to bring new content and features (like multiplayer), an additional side to the conflict, and a completed campaign to the project.
