As the portal noted The playerIn recent weeks, players have complained (and even found temporary solution to the problem) that Baldur’s Gate 3 in the third act began to work even worse than before since the release of the fourth patch on November 2nd.

We are talking about delays in the execution of actions: saving, loading, interacting with the environment and characters (companions, meanwhile, do not follow the hero), quick movements work late, the third act is completed “unplayable”.

As Larian explained IGNThe slowdowns are a result of fixing a bug in the second act: Baldur’s Gate 3 began to remember all of the player’s unnoticed sins, causing lag in the third act.

“Essentially, to draw parallels with the real world, your master is constantly thinking about the thefts and acts of violence the player commits, unable to forget or speak out about them. Think about it ad infinitum.says Larian.
